I have been massaging over 10 years. I graduated from the Massage Therapy program at Southern California University of Health and Sciences in 2012 and I am state certified by the California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC). In 2009, I received my B.A. in Dance with a focus in Movement Studies from Scripps College. During my undergraduate study, I studied mind and body connection and movement modalities such as Alexander Technique, Bartenieff Fundamentals, and Laban Movement Anaylsis.
In 2008, I was awarded The Lucile Phillips Morrison Scholarship where I attended the Moving On Center School of Participatory and Somatic research in Oakland, CA to study Bartenieff Fundamentals with Peggy Hackney, and Alexander Technique and Somatic Therapy with Carol Swann. With my educational background, I use an integrated approach to customize each massage to the client’s needs. If you are coming in for a relaxing massage or in hopes of alleviating specific ailments such as trigger points and chronic muscular pain, I am confident you will feel better after the massage.
